Just in Case

24 Oct

Just in case anyone is worried that my silence means that the critique session at my class went really badly, please be reassured.  We actually ran out of time and didn’t get to it at all, so I have the nerves to go through again on Tuesday.

It’s been a quiet week writing wise as I have been struggling with a really bad throat infection (antibiotics making it better, but making me feel worse); two interviews for a job I didn’t get (minimum wage x 6 hrs x 8 wks = 2 interviews 😦 a sure sign of the times).  We also had a birthday party to get through, although the wonderful people at the soft play did all the work while I sat and drank coffee and ignored the eardrum piercing noise of 10 six year olds.

The lack of writing has been made up for with lots of research and a bit of planning, so hopefully the morning will bring a splurg of words.

I make nice frocks and write average poetry. And there's a bit of embroidery and the occasional rant.
