Bad Blogger

21 Jan

Oh I’ve been a bad blogger.  Once you stop blogging regularly it goes out of your head.  I had hoped that the end of the Christmas holidays would bring renewed vigour, but instead brought lots of little niggly problems which had to be sorted and seemed to take up all of my time and energy.

There has been major shake-ups to the family timetable with hobbies being dropped and new ones picked up, and I’m still dealing with the aftermath of plumbing/insurance problems etc.

However, I have been building up the words and am now just about finished the first section of my novel.  There are lots of scenes from the next two sections already written as well, but loads more to be done.  All the while I’m still wondering whether or not the scale of the book is too big but I think I’ll only know that when I’m further on.  At 55,000 words already though and loads of tales still to tell, I see a large delete key in the future.

I make nice frocks and write average poetry. And there's a bit of embroidery and the occasional rant.
