Aye Write – Reading Event

21 Feb

I will be taking part in the Sudden Fame event at the Aye Write Festival on Sunday 13th of March at the Mitchell Library, Glasgow. Sudden Fame showcases writers from the Federation of Writers (Scotland) and always proves to be a very varied night.

Copies of my book will be available for sale at the event.

What’s Happening Dude? (For want of a better title)

12 Mar

So, what is happening? Well some good things – heard I’m to be published in the next anthology by the Federation of Writers’ (Scotland) and will also be performing (for three whole minutes) at their Sudden Fame event during the Aye Write festival at The Mitchell Library, Glasgow on the 24th of March – more details to follow.

Some bad things – family illnesses carry on, some getting worse, others getting better, others staying reappearing – but all draining my energy quite a bit.

As a result of the above illnesses I’ve been finding it quite difficult to concentrate on much new writing, but mid-edit so that carries on. I’m also going to try to be inspired by the prompts on the Creative Writing Ink webpage which allows you to link back to your blog, so hopefully you’ll be seeing some short pieces here soon. http://www.creativewritingink.co.uk/resources/writing-prompts/ Other useful competition info from them is found at http://www.creativewritingink.co.uk/writing-competitions/
